Greatest Motivation: My motivation is to continue to succeed. 

I’m 72 years young. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 51 years, and we have two daughters. I have been an insulin-dependent diabetic for over 40 years. I’ve had two heart surgeries in June 1999 and January 2000.

The program has given me mental, spiritual and physical knowledge to succeed

I would recommend the Ornish Lifestyle Medicine (Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation) program. I would tell patients to get ready to feel better and have more energy. My mobility and balance are better, and I don’t fall several times a day. All the therapists are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The program also has given me mental, spiritual and physical knowledge to succeed.

My motivation is to continue to succeed. I’m continuing to exercise, and my exercise equipment will no longer be used to hang clothes on.
