Oprah: Dr. Ornish on How Women Can Avoid Heart Disease

This Oprah show with Dr. Dean Ornish features active women in their 30s and 40s who had heart attacks. The emerging statistic that one out of every two women will die of heart disease got such an overwhelming response that she wanted to show her audience how they could prevent and reverse heart disease, gain more energy and lose weight too.
One out of every two women will die of heart disease.
Dr. Dean Ornish joined Oprah to show her how it’s done.
“Our body has a remarkable capacity to begin healing itself if we simply stop doing whats contributing to the problem,” he said. “Its not just what we exclude but what we include in our diet.”
